Qualified accountants (CIPFA/CIMA/ICAEW/ICAS/ACCA) can get up to 90 credit exemptions from the MSc allowing direct entry on to this Top Up.
Ofqual regulated qualifications in a relevant subject area at Level 7 may also attract exemptions up to 90 credits.
Each application will be reviewed on merit and applications which do not fall into the criteria listed above may still be considered individually.
The qualification typically takes two semesters to complete which usually equates to 9 months of full-time study, September, January and June

MSc Accounting and Finance Top-up
This Top-up programme is designed to allow progression from a prior approved postgraduate qualification to complete a full Master’s degree in Accountancy and Financial Management.
Students will consolidate and enhance knowledge of accountancy and financial management through the completion of an independent project which is supported by online workshops and tutorials. The programme is delivered by experienced professionals and academics.
